Akron Children’s is a pediatric teaching hospital of the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), offering several subspecialty fellowship training programs, as well as training for pediatric, family practice and pediatric orthopedic surgery residents.

Akron Children’s partners with nearly 50 nursing schools, providing almost 2,000 clinical, preceptorship and observation experiences for nursing students. Supported programs include practical nursing, diploma nursing, associate, baccalaureate, master and doctoral nursing programs.
