Since 2000, the 98.1 KDD Radiothon has provided patients and families the opportunity to share their personal stories on the air, prompting hundreds of listeners to call in with pledges to Akron Children's. This annual fundraiser has raised more than $11.5 million for the hospital since its beginning.
Pledges are used to buy child-size medical equipment and to fund patient care, community outreach and research. Our success would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers, Changemakers, donors and sponsors who give their time, talent and treasure to this annual event.
