Akron Children’s pediatric urologist to begin seeing patients in Beachwood in January

Akron Children’s pediatric urologist Hannah Bachtel, M.D., will begin seeing patients in Beachwood in January.

Beginning Jan. 6, Dr. Bachtel will perform outpatient surgeries on the first Monday of each month at Akron Children’s Outpatient Surgery Center – located at 3755 Orange Place, Suite 102 – in Beachwood.

Beginning Jan. 24, she will begin seeing patients in clinic on Fridays at Akron Children’s Health Center, Beachwood, at 3733 Park East Drive, Suite 230.

Dr. Bachtel sees patients ranging from infants to young adults for a variety of urological conditions, including hypospadia, voiding dysfunctions, bed-wetting issues, bladder exstrophy, undescended testes, kidney stones, adrenal disorders and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Dr. Bachtel joined the Akron Children's in 2023. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. She completed a urology residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center and a pediatric urology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
