Akron Children’s expands access in Marietta and Belpre

 Akron Children’s is expanding access to its pediatrics practices in Marietta and Belpre.

New and current Akron Children’s pediatric patients in the Belpre and Marietta areas can now take advantage of walk-in hours for sick appointments or well visits. Walk-in hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Current patients in Ohio can also have an “e-visit” email exchange with their Akron Children’s Pediatrics provider for common conditions including rashes, insect bites, cough and cold. E-visits are a quick and easy way to get care without missing work or school. Patient families can select an e-visit in MyChart.

Additionally, Akron Children’s Pediatrics has expanded its clinical staff. Dr. Renee Caslow is now a full-time provider at the Belpre practice and is accepting new patients. Dr. Caslow is board-certified in pediatrics and earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Lalan Shah joined the Belpre office in July. He earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a pediatrics residency at Akron Children’s Hospital.
