Thank you for submitting your online Parent Mentor Profile. Information will be posted on the Akron Children’s webpage on the Parent Mentor page. Because Mentor Profiles can be accessed by the general public, do not share anything too personal. Share just enough for the family decide if you are a good fit with similar experiences.
We will use first names only and your email address will not be viewable or searchable to the public. Families will be able to view your profile in all areas that you select. If a family chooses to contact you, you and I will receive an email requesting the match. It will include their name, email, and a brief description of their situation. It is our hope you will respond to your requests within 48 hours. If there is a reason you can’t, you will notify the program coordinator to find a new match.
