Jordan has been doing well with his super boots. I am amazed at how these boots have given him freedom. As Randy and I were getting ready to go to work last week, Jordan was playing in his little area and tipped over.
As we both watched with excitement, Jordan leaned over, bent his little knee, pushed through his leg, propped himself over with both arms, and wobbled his way into sitting. All by himself!
This is a skill that we have been working on for a month and a half. As much as he hated being put on his belly or missing what was happening while he was on his back, he is now able to move around enough to be in control. Amazing!!
I was thinking about how much I love him and how much joy he brings into our home. I don’t want to overlook what I love about him. Sure he’s our son, we love him, but there are things he does that make my heart spill over with love.
So I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite things about my little man:
- His belly laugh, and when he runs out of laughter, it comes out that much deeper than before.
- His breath on my neck as he falls asleep on my shoulder.
