Akron Children’s is working hard to add services and bring families the latest MyChart tools to make managing their children’s health simple, swift and stress free.
In MyChart’s latest upgrade on Nov. 11, families can expect a new homepage that includes alerts and actions for all patient accounts, as well as more consistency across the MyChart website and mobile app to eliminate confusion.
MyChart homepage updates
Once logged into MyChart, alerts and actions for all patients in your account will be displayed on the homepage. Patients’ information will be color-coded. From there, you can select which child account you’d like to enter to view specific records or take action.
In addition, toggling between patient accounts will look different. Instead of the top menu, a new “Switch” button will be located in the right-hand corner to toggle between accounts.
Lastly, “Your Menu” down the left side of the page will replace the current MyChart features menu and submenus located across the top of the screen. “Your Menu” will list all MyChart features in one location, and now gives you the ability to set up a customized shortcut menu for the features you use most.
MyChart Mobile update
MyChart Mobile will get an upgrade to better align with the MyChart website. Now, all features offered on the MyChart website will be available on MyChart Mobile. The two platforms will look and function similarly to eliminate confusion.
Most notably, the app’s new homepage will also work off a drop-down menu to navigate to MyChart features. Just like on the website, you will be able to set up a customized shortcut menu for your most-used features.
