Objectives (Educational Content) :
1. To discuss the diagnosis of JIA. 2. To understand some of the immunology surrounding JIA. 3. To explore new treatments in JIA.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is the most common childhood rheumatic condition with variable presentation and co-morbidities and associations therefore early and effective treatment is critical to reduce inflammation and pain while restoring our patients function and decreasing the long-term sequelae.
