Objectives (Educational Content) :
1. Become comfortable with examination of the ocular surface and anatomy. 2. Recognize signs of open/ruptured globe. 3. Formulate treatment plans for common form of ocular trauma.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Recognizing, triaging and managing eye trauma efficiently and correctly is critical for the long-term care of our pediatric patients.
