1: Explain risk factors for ovarian and uterine injury after cancer therapy. 2: Discuss current and emerging fertility preservation therapies. 3: Describe barriers to reproductive late effects care and strategies to improve outcomes through an equity lens.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
With the improved success and increased armamentarium of cancer treatments options, we need to be mindful and thoughtful of long-term effects of said treatments for cancer survivors, including reproductive health and fertility.
