Aela's Story
When Aela was about 6 months old, she participated in Akron Children's Paws for a Cause event. She only weighed about 3 1/2 lbs at the time. My husband kept saying, "She is never going to be able to walk the mile." She proved him wrong, completely surprised both of us and tired me out when she started running the minute the race started and didn't stop until the end. Aela travels often and does well in the car on long distances. She's traveled twice to Key West and once to Naples, Florida. She enjoys floating on pool floats and going for walks, exploring new locations. On our first trip to Key West, we came across a crab as large as Aela while on our nightly walk!
