Specialized Care Plans: We tailor our care plans to meet the individual needs of each newborn, collaborating closely with OBs and families to ensure a holistic approach to health and well-being. In addition, we collaborate with our state-of-the-art Level 3 and 4 NICUs as well as neonatology experts for our most vulnerable patients.
Family Support: We provide comprehensive support services for families, including lactation, infant therapy, social services, education and resources to help navigate this critical time.
Special Care Nurseries (SCN): Our special care nurseries are equipped to handle more complex medical conditions for infants that require additional support, offering round-the-clock monitoring and advanced treatments. This service is currently available at Lorain Hospital, St. Joseph Warren Hospital and Wooster Community Hospital.
In the Newborn Medicine Division, we are dedicated to advancing neonatal care through continuous research, education, and a relentless focus on quality and safety. Our goal is to ensure that every newborn receives the best possible start in life.
