Following several months of training, and a thorough scrubbing, 7-year-old miniature horse "Willie Nelson" made his first official visit to Akron Children's. Willie takes the reins from Petie the Pony, who passed away in 2017 after delighting hospital patients for 20 years. Handlers from Victory Gallop Stables, which offers therapeutic horseback riding programs for children, accompanied both steeds during their visits.
